Product Description
All-steel laboratory bench (central bench, side bench, instrument bench)
- We use Baosteel/Angang cold‑rolled steel sheets and strictly avoid galvanized sheet, which can result in insufficient adhesion of the coating and lead to the same issues noted in all cabinet‑related process specifications. This could cause paint chipping or peeling over time. The bare‑steel thickness must be at least 1.0 mm.
- Bending requirements: During sheet metal fabrication, the frame on the cabinet’s front and the door panel must be bent with high precision to minimize both vertical and horizontal gaps between the frame and the door panel, ensuring uniform spacing for an aesthetically pleasing overall appearance. All exterior door panels and drawer fronts are double-layered for sound insulation.
- Welding requirements: During sheet metal fabrication, all frame members on the cabinet’s front panel must be welded to the door panels and drawer fronts to ensure a smooth, aesthetically pleasing surface that is safe to handle and resistant to corrosion and rust caused by paint‑coating blind spots.
- After sheet metal forming, the parts undergo a sequence of processes—grinding, polishing, acid pickling, phosphating, and drying—resulting in a smooth, uniform surface free of pits and burrs that won’t cause injury, while also enhancing the internal corrosion resistance and surface adhesion of the sheet metal.
- The surface coating utilizes King Gold powder—a ultra-fine epoxy resin powder—applied at a thickness of 70–90 µm via an automated painting line, followed by high‑temperature curing at 180°C. This process ensures that the laboratory furniture remains corrosion‑resistant, heat‑resistant, and maintains its finish without chipping, peeling, or fading over long-term use.
- Drawer slides / Damping hinges for door panels.
- Drawer/Door Handle: Split-style linear handle with baked enamel finish.
- The rear of the double-cabinet unit shall be fitted with a snap‑on, removable back panel to facilitate maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- The door‑panel latching mechanism is designed to provide impact protection and reduce noise when the cabinet door closes. Adjustable shock‑absorbing feet are included, and the worktop is constructed from either a 12.7 mm double‑sided laminate with acid‑ and alkali‑resistance or a Tianrun thermosetting resin laminate; the edges are reinforced (with an optional surcharge for ceramic or epoxy‑resin edging). An additional charge applies for installing a socket back panel on the instrument worktop.
